First shoebox attempt
Hi all,I want to try to do a shoebox cake for my daughters 21st in September.
My first question is what size cake should I bake for the box?

If you want to make the cake look life like you could always measure a shoe box about the size of the cake you want and go from there.

You need to consider how many people it has to feed. Also, if you are placing a shoe on top, you need to make sure it roughly looks like it would fit in the 'box'!
