Carrier for giant cupcake
HiI made a giant cupcake last weekend for a friend and used my cupcake courier with the trays removed to transport it.
But I've now been asked by someone at work to make one for her daughter. I won't be attending the party so don't want to give them my carrier!
Does anyone know of any boxes that can transport these large cakes safely? Should I perhaps try and make a larger lid for a cardboard box carrier? Don't want it getting damaged I'd need to take it to work and then give it to her to take home!:-/

I made my first purchase from www.packagingplace.com.au just this week. The order arrived in 48 hours and the website is very easy to use. They have lots of cake boxes, and I can confirm the quality is very good. I live in the country so this is a very convenient way to shop for me!! Good luck with the cupcakes!

Hi Kym do you sell cupcakes in Australia? i was wondering how you work out your pricing? i noticed there was a spreadsheet going round but i never managed to see it! is there a system you use? i've had my first order for a giant cupcake - was thinking of charging $50! and for 24 cupcakes $40?
Does that sound reasonable?

Wow that does sound like alot! Is hard though as if you charge too much then the customers may just go to a cake shop where they can do them cheaper... The cupcake bakery in Sydney does giant cupcakes for $70 but they are smaller but have piping which would take longer.. Then there's the difficulty of finding tlanbox to fit it! But once I've worked it all out hopefully it'll be easier next time! Thanks for you help!
